Quite windy at LG at the moment. EJ managing just to keep all chicks warm.
Odin delivered 6/7 fish, not quite sure. Fairly uneventful except for the times when the chicks were scoffing their food. Makes for amusing watching
Happy watching to all early morning viewers
Strange sounds coming through the mike, sounds like firecrackers going off, hope its not shooting in any way or form. Could be the sound of fireworks. Certainly got EJ listening and watching something.

EJ gone for a comfort break, and the chicks all fast asleep.....
I was in the garden too Lindybird so missed the delivery but glad to read a fish came at last. When I looked in EJ was away on a comfort break. Just after she came back the intruder arrived and nearly landed on top of her. Lots of mantling and screaming at that persistent intruder.
Margobird
Snap, Brenda !
That was sudden, think EJ must have seen whoever it was and come back to the nest to protect her chicks....
Now she is happy enough to preen a little:
--- another one for the headless gallery!
LYNETTE thanks for the info on Big Rabs compilation, not having much time to read through everything at the mo. Even missed Trooping this morning, I was down at the fitness club before I gave it a thought. aren't the chicks huge, and lots of wing stretching by the bigger 2. Must find my LG leaflet and check when they will be ringed. Off to give Dillon walk now , luckily it is still dry, but quite dull.
The intruder cheekily came back to swoop over the nest again - enraging EJ.
Now its calmer, and after waking up a little and copying EJ & her shouting, the chicks have gone back to the Land of Nod. EJ having a preen. It looks a lot windier than this morning, there.
EJ very watchful at the moment and has just had another shout so I think that pesky intruder is still around. You are right Lindybird about EJ being enraged, when she is angry she looks angry and I can't understand why that intruder keeps wanting to incur her wrath.
A good contender for the "headless" entry:
--its all calm now, and the babies are preening as well as EJ. also having staring matches with each other! "you looked away before I did!"
