Hi everybody.
We've had an eventful day with Odin bringing in 5 fish and intruders trying to land on the nest but being chased off by EJ.
All is quiet on the nest except for fidgiting from the chicks who are keeping EJ awake. She has her back to us at present and is looking toward the right of the picture. One little one has just been obliging over the far end of the nest.
Happy watching, see you in the morning. night, night.

Lovely capture, Sandy. am daily amazed at their progress.
Thank you Alicat and Margobird . I believe it's four fish so far Alicat .So then , Lindybird - BarbaraJean and I concur , well, good!
EJ just went off for a break. Just before she left, the chicks did a good demo of how they can spread their wings already - very impressive - even EJ looked on as if amazed at their progress.

....... and she's back with a stick, which she manages to hit all of the chicks with, on landing!
Glad all went well Cirrus and Margobird.
I have been thinking about the ringing and tagging as the time is fast approaching and there does not seem to have been anything mentioned about it in the blogs so far. The same applies at LOTL where they are awaiting permission and at the Lake District where I believe they are intending to tag the chicks also.
Mum, what are you doing with that stick?
.....sorry, wrong pic above, will change it....
it was fairly chaotic as EJ landed, stick and all - the chicks had to be quick and try to dodge both Mum and her prized burden! Above is all of them, afterward, when EJ had calmed down and decided where to put it.
