Hi everybody.
We've had an eventful day with Odin bringing in 5 fish and intruders trying to land on the nest but being chased off by EJ.
All is quiet on the nest except for fidgiting from the chicks who are keeping EJ awake. She has her back to us at present and is looking toward the right of the picture. One little one has just been obliging over the far end of the nest.
Happy watching, see you in the morning. night, night.

I'm amazed that EJ can still completely cover those huge chicks:

(NW England) We have a difference in the growing season though, ourselves as relatives of mine in Hertfordshire always say their daffodils are out long before mine come out of their buds. Hope it doesn't rain on poor EJ all night, tonight.

Weather doesn't look too good, EJ with her back to the camera is brooding the family as best she can, lookin out to see if Odin will bring in a late supper??
Early night for me, grandchildren here tomorrow and for a sleepover. Thanks to all, look forward to reading the late night and overnight posts tomorrow.

Just got back from a BBQ and watching the footie. Good to see that Odin delivered 7 fish altogether. I still think he will reach double figures one of these days.
Night vision on. Is that rain or the wind. EJ is getting blown about so sounds like the wind has really got up.
The wind at LG is fierce tonight .
After Odin's fishing marathon today, he may welcome the bad weather so he can rest for tomorrows fishing trips

I just saw EJ move one of the older chicks to her rear - I think to give her a better chance of covering the youngest - did anyone else see that?
Very nice night pics, I must say, Sandy.
