Hi everybody.
We've had an eventful day with Odin bringing in 5 fish and intruders trying to land on the nest but being chased off by EJ.
All is quiet on the nest except for fidgiting from the chicks who are keeping EJ awake. She has her back to us at present and is looking toward the right of the picture. One little one has just been obliging over the far end of the nest.
Happy watching, see you in the morning. night, night.

Evening Lindybird not a dry eye for me either. Each of last year's videos still bring a tear to my eye as well. EJ, Odin and their family really get into your heart and soul.

It is raining.
Thank goodness Odin delivered 7 fish already today. It is unlikely he will bring more today.

Can hear its started raining just now, at LG. EJ is covering the chicks as best she can.
Hope youre feeling better now, margobird.
EJ doing a great job of covering the chicks during a shower:
Feeling OK Lindybird will probably feel a lot better after a good night's sleep. Poor EJ did you see how quickly she managed to get all the chicks covered as best she could. Don't know what the weather forecast for this area is so hope this is not going to continue for too long. Will be lucky if there is another fish delivery now so it is a good job Odin has been with 7 today.
Watched BigRab's video comp and it was fabulous. Hope you're soon feeling better Margobird.
Raining when I tuned in again but it seems to have stopped now. Glad to see that Odin has been magnificent in providing 7 fish so far today - will he break last years record I wonder.
EJ sheltering the family and looking gorgeous as ever.

Thanks Lynette, as you say EJ looking gorgeous and how quickly she managed to get the chicks almost covered when the rain came down and wind blew. Would be nice to see Odin deliver one more fish but he has done so well today.
Its aways a source of surprise to me that there is such a difference in the darkness for you, Heather, when you are only a few miles north of us here. (NW England)
We have a difference in the growing season though, ourselves as relatives of mine in Hertfordshire always say their daffodils are out long before mine come out of their buds.
Hope it doesn't rain on poor EJ all night, tonight.

As I type it has started to rain again and it certainly is quite chilly up there. I thought I heard thunder as well but perhaps it was just the wind blowing.
