Hi everybody.
We've had an eventful day with Odin bringing in 5 fish and intruders trying to land on the nest but being chased off by EJ.
All is quiet on the nest except for fidgiting from the chicks who are keeping EJ awake. She has her back to us at present and is looking toward the right of the picture. One little one has just been obliging over the far end of the nest.
Happy watching, see you in the morning. night, night.

Odin just delivered a fish. Not huge but OK size
. After he landed and EJ took the fish the two older chicks immediately went toward her. Titch stood for a while just looking up at Odin. A heart warming scene !
Odin flew away and Titch muscled in between the other two chicks.

Oh my! The fish is gone and they are all still hungry. EJ is "loudly" calling for another fish!
EDIT: EJ stopped calling so presumably Odin went fishing again. The way she was shouting he was near by.
He may have been waiting for left overs. LOL I am sure he was surprised. This is the first time one fish was not enough
Just logged on. Thanks for updates.
EJ now waiting patiently for another delivery whilst the chicks wriggle from time to time underneath her.
One chick has decided that being beside mum is more comfortable.
Morning. Thanks for posts and reports.
EJ sitting peaceably on the nest, no wind, could be a nice day at LG today: I shall be in and out today, but looking in to see how much those huge chicks can grow again in just 24 hours....
EJ went for an exercise flight.
Chick #2 wanted to be under a wing and chick #1's wing will do fine so it snuggled under it :)
EJ just had a short comfort break, but I didn't see if she brought any sticks back this time!
------ the Giant Chicks are all asleep, still.
............now they are stirring......... OMG ! ....... those chicks are H U G E !!
..........what have they been eating ???
EJ's been gone for a while on another break - as its a long time, guess she might come back with some enormous stick or branch to keep this lot in....

I was just thinking the same thing. This is the longest she has been gone since they hatched. Or is she resting her feet in a near by tree?
Some one at the center said their feet are built to be on a branch and standing flat footed on the nest is uncomfortable
EJ was gone for at least 10 minutes, though I don't think she can have been far away. Then she returned, shouting, at first I thought it was an alarm call, but then Odin arrived with a FISH!
