Hi everyone.
Wasn't watching at the time but heard a commotion. Still raining, chicks and eJ were excited over something but have settled down again. Chicks can be heard chirping away whilst EJ tries to keep them dry and warm , getting soaked herself.
I'll say night, night, happy viewing.

Odin delivered another fish. Both he and EJ mantled due to an intruder.
Odin flew off hopefully to chase the intruder
All three chicks lined up to eat. Titch is first in line. Chick #1 is at the end of the line bobbing it's head watching EJ feed Titch as if to say, " Shorty is eating first as usual" LOL
EDIT: Oops Titch moved to the center
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
#3 doing well again, I see! I reckon it could be up there with #1 by weighing time - just like Garten!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Still eating - and Titch is doing well. No wonder they are so big!
Last year Rothes was defensive of Garten and always let her eat early. It looks like chick #1 is defensive of Titch and it's place in the food line.
I wonder if the first chick is always more maternal. As aggressive as Nethy was she was kinder to Deshar
Odin better get another fish . This one won't be enough
Lovely picture of them being fed Joan. I can see each chick so plainly.
EJ turned around with the fish and is giving extra to chick #2.
The thing that is most evident to me, is that EJ is so sure of the fish supply by Odin that she makes sure the youngest is fed so well. If she didn't have that confidence, like 2008, she would only feed the two eldest. This is such a joy to watch.

Thanks everyone.
Enjoying the gentle chirps in the evening sun (if you ignore the wind)
Thanks for all the posts this afternoon - glad to see two more fish delivered.
I see from the new blog that we have a young couple intruding - they have absolutely no chance of ousting EJ and Odin. They'd be better off concentrating their energies in building their own nest.
Looks peaceful on the nest now.
