Hi everyone.
Wasn't watching at the time but heard a commotion. Still raining, chicks and eJ were excited over something but have settled down again. Chicks can be heard chirping away whilst EJ tries to keep them dry and warm , getting soaked herself.
I'll say night, night, happy viewing.

All seems quiet on the "western front" so to speak. No alarm calls so the intruder hopefully has got the message to stay away. EJ enjoying a bit of peace and quiet from the family. Odin hopefully is out fishin again or having his tea before he delivers theirs.

I'm not allowed to do it, OH knows where everything is he says and that situation would change if I tidied up in there. Car couldn't get in there even if it wanted to and one of our smallest grandchildren has even told all the staff and children at Nursery about 'Grandad's messy garage' :- ((( Now that is the ultimate shame. Sorry folks, if I'm too much off topic, got carried away---
EJ has been away for more sticks ... chicks were squaring up to each other ... oldest 2 decided better of it ... but Titch tried to have a go at one of them and was defeated!

I saw that Joan. I thought they were going to have a scrap.
EJ flew off for some exercise and a small twig to reinforce the fence. The chicks all got up and immediately Titch took one poke at #1.
All it took was two light pokes from #1 to make Titch lay down .
Last Year Rothes was also gentle as she put Garten in her place

Great pic Brenda - it was so funny ... they were like two boxers squaring up in a boxing ring ... glad it didn't amount to anything!
According to Paul's blog entry there are TWO intruders . An un-ringed male & an un-ringed female.
From what I have read Odin will fight off the male and EJ will take care of chasing off the female.
If the intruders have any ideas of claiming the nest they will find a formidable force to deal with in EJ & Odin
They best get busy and build their own nest LOL
EJ alarm calling and looking upwards, can obviously see a threat.
Sounds like another intruder ... EJ chirping. I love the way one chick is resting its head on EJ's wing :-)
