Hi everyone.
Wasn't watching at the time but heard a commotion. Still raining, chicks and eJ were excited over something but have settled down again. Chicks can be heard chirping away whilst EJ tries to keep them dry and warm , getting soaked herself.
I'll say night, night, happy viewing.

They really are Joan. I was also thinking this morning that #1 is looking the biggest.
EJ scanning the skies ... looking for Odin with more fish perhaps, or keeping an eye out for that intruder. Two chicks are out in front ... only Titch is under EJ in the warmth!

Brenda - I'm finding it very hard to tell the difference between #1 and #2 now ... #2 was a much paler colour at first, but not any more.
Afternoon DjoanS you are so right about how big they are getting, just about fill the nest cup now. I think it is time Odin came with a fish. EJ busy looking around so I wonder if he is around. She had a little shout a while ago but I think that might have been an intruder. She is shouting and mantling again now.
Margobird
Just checked back. Last fish was at 11.53am. Maybe another may be due although it does look breezy.
I've been thinking that the wind does ruffle the surface of the water, Brenda, so Odin may have a problem seeing the fish today. At least the chicks are dry today.
Have you noticed the chick lying in front of EJ, is so asleep, it has not moved for ages, even though the other two have and EJ has been bouncing up and down.
They are so full of fish, in spite of EJ waiting just now, I'm sure its too full.
