Hi everyone and especially to Annette in SoCal - have posted a last note that I was starting new thread, hope that helps.
As you can guess, its raining or has been raining and EJ is soaked but managing to keep the wee ones undercover. I'm not sure how many fish were delivered yesterday but there were a few.
Rain seems to have eased and EJ is having a little stretch at the moment.
Happy watching to all of you around the globe. See you in the morning.

You're right OG, thanks for that. I did mean Garten:) I've edited the post now.
EJ just come back from a short lap around the block. Think she may have brought some more moss
EJ seems to have decided that as the nest got so wet in the last few days, she needs to replenish the moss, and is now busy flying back and forth with clean fresh moss.
EDIT: sorry to hear you've been under the weather, Cirrus. thinking of you and hope you are soon on the mend.
EJ with her moss collection !
Lindybird - that's a lovely pic of EJ with her 'collection'!
Cirrus - so sorry you are under the weather - I can cope with most ailments except with eyes & ears - hope it improves soon.

I see we prefer yellow moss and grey lichens this year - not much of the red moss - it's sooo last year!!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Thank you for the heads up Heather, I would have hated to miss such a beautiful surprise.
Cirrus - I think Heather was actually alerting you to her post on page 5 on the Weekly Thread! But glad you liked the picture. (sorry folks, I know this is off topic)
Logged on again, and thanks for all the updates and great pictures.
The theory about the #3 chick debate - its mother nature and what will be will be. I am a newcomer to this having only watch from halfway through last season but judging from nature programmes this sort of thing happens and there is always going to be sibling rivalry, lets hope it doesn't get too violent.
EJ is sitting fairly comfortably with the wee family at the side and in front of her. She keeps looking towards the camera and around. Is the intruder about or can she see Odin. At least it looks fine there.
Hi Cirrus sorry to hear you have been unwell hope your eye gets better soon that sound pain full
