EJ looking at the camera at the moment, watching what I think is a feather stuck on the lens? Just turned round and is just resting as best she can.
Happy watching to all the earlybirds.
Night, night, back in the morning.

That's a busy week margobird. Enjoy the donkeys. Hope they can 'sort you out' with the hearing probs. You will be finding the chicks growing daily if you are not able to be on here every day!

Lindybird I imagine they will have grown a lot bigger by the time I get to look in again after all the fish they have been getting. Do you know how many in total Odin caught yesterday. I lost count as there always seem to be a surfeit on fish on the nest. Just been watching EJ shifting a stick around until she eventually got it where she wanted it. Someone mentioned fence building to keep the chicks in. I had my heart in my mouth yesterday when No. 1 chick got right to the edge of the nest. Don't you think EJ has the most beautiful eyes. She has just started to call so perhaps he has a fish. Well what do you know he has just arrived with one (1.0.47).
Margobird
Hope all goes well at the hospital Margobird and enjoy your long weekend with the donkeys.
EJ just had a quick comfort break and is back admiring the scenery, the little ones are moving about the nest a bit but otherwise content to just snooze at times.
EJ begins to call and in comes Odin with another fish. EJ eagerly takes it from him and begins another feed. #1 gets first bite of the cherry but the other 2 are moving up to be fed. #2 is in there and #3 is going round the outside to get in there with a chance. Tried to take some from mums mouth then and succeeded. All three enjoying the feed whilst dad looks on
Odin now flown off but surely will be back later.
All lined up in a row, Titch was behind them but has now wriggled up and is getting fed as I type. Odin standing there admiring his family. Oh he has just left.
Morning Lynette I am only going for the day to be a donkey carer, but we travel down Monday afternoon as early start on Tuesday at the Sanctuary. We are going to be out tomorrow afternoon as we are going to see "The Strictly Come Dancing Tour" which will be all the professionals so lookng forward to that.
Well feeding time over and yet again 3 stuffed chicks all thanks to Odin. EJ just tidying up now (I tell a lie she is giving seconds to them now) but I think it has just about gone now and chicks unable to get anymore down.
Chick #1 trying to peer over the taller part of the fence on the right. EJ standing in front of the chick guarding the lower part of the fence so it doesn't go overboard :)

Looked in again on them and they are all enjoying their morning exercise, getting stronger and bigger by the day. What a wonderful family. The two older ones preening and Titch content just to rest.
Margobird - what a busy time you have ahead of you next week .... but the donkey carer sounds wonderful ... I just love donkeys!
I see there was a fish delivery while I was out ... glad I didn't miss Odin feeding again ... that was so special. The chicks look so cute sprawled out in the sun ... I love it when they stretch a leg and wing out and leave them 'hung out' while they are lying there.

#1 and #2 are very close to the edge and #1 is really pearing its head over the top of the nest. EJ just stands their calmly and watches them. They are getting quite adventurous. Titch is asleep as usual.
They're all having a snooze now whilst EJ keeps watch.
