EJ looking at the camera at the moment, watching what I think is a feather stuck on the lens? Just turned round and is just resting as best she can.
Happy watching to all the earlybirds.
Night, night, back in the morning.

Hmm. Well Odin still sitting about with EJ in the dawn sunlight. He usually doesn't hang about this long but maybe it's a nice change for him with EJ and the chicks not calling for food....
Early morning feed , from a fish already on nest, 4.15amhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgnmPvx6qRQ
That's pretty country Gary. Hope the weather is good (Seattle is a lot like the UK - you remember? rainy?)
Can't believe Odin is still just sitting there. It's a very peaceful scene....
Did Odin bring a fish or did he just come to visit?
Odin sounds like he is food soliciting
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Barbara Jean, no fish, just a social call. He must have been there at least 20 minutes already.
Annette, it's lovely. very scenic, and we are not in the "wilds"! I had my shorts on today (18 and sunny) but not so sure about tomorrow) Glad your daughter sorted out the horse:)
One chick is stirring; EJ is trying to keep it tucked in - Odin is chatting every now and then and looking to see what's going on - and decided maybe it's time to leave - and off he goes.
Odin arrives, fishless and hangs out on the nest for at least 20 minutes, having an animated discussion with himself!!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlxf2RIxzjk
EJ gone for a fly about and back very quickly. Gary: You must have a great view of Mt. Rainier.
That was funny Gary - EJ obviously not a morning osprey when it comes to chatting (like my OH). Poor Odin wasn't getting much feedback (I know the feeling).
