Hi everyone.
EJ has just fed the chicks again and is now settling them down for the night.
What a day it has been, high drama this afternoon with the intruder about, but Odin and EJ defended superbly.
Chicks have been well fed despite the windy conditions for fishing. I think there was a total of 5 fish? Perhaps someone can correct that if I'm wrong.
Happy watching to those who carry on through our night. Goodnight, sleeptight EJ and family.

Yes, 3 today so far, Alicat. They had a bit of a wait between nos. 2 and 3, and were getting hungry, but it was such a big fish this time. Great pic, DjoanS !!
Lindybird - I just looked at my pic again ... its almost a candidate for a 'headless Odin' competition !!

You got a chorus there, Alicat. We have all been gripped by events, and such entertaining little persons.
DjoanS: You def. win the 'headless Odin comp' as you are the only entry !!!!!!
EDIT: You are right Barbara Jean about their eyesight, I could do with some of that, as I see really badly these days. Odin must have spotted that huge fish and thought ' I'll try for that big one that'll keep her quiet'...
Odin must have brought back the fish.... EJ is feeding them again....
All of them still on the nest....
Odin brought back some of the fish. EJ is feeding the chick. One of the chicks just pooed on Odin's face. He shook his head a lot to get rid of it and decided to leave LOL

Where do those babies put it all ???
I keep popping in from the garden ... its such a beutiful day here ... and keep getting the end of the feeds! I gather Odin brought back the rest of the fish and the three chicks look totally stuffed ... #1 can't even raise its head :-))
