Hi everyone.
EJ has just fed the chicks again and is now settling them down for the night.
What a day it has been, high drama this afternoon with the intruder about, but Odin and EJ defended superbly.
Chicks have been well fed despite the windy conditions for fishing. I think there was a total of 5 fish? Perhaps someone can correct that if I'm wrong.
Happy watching to those who carry on through our night. Goodnight, sleeptight EJ and family.

Well, EJ flies off and chicks fall in a pile, but here's EJ back again and settled down again. With that, I'm going to call it a night. Happy viewing all.
Hi Annette! I think #1 was in front line on left and #3 beside her and #2 behind, but will post a pick in a while
my photos in flickr
Yeah Auntie. Looked that way to me too. G'night and take care!
Good night Annette.
Thought I snapped a pic from feeding but didn't... This is just before. And I think when chicks turned to face the major D, #3 was side by side with #1 and got the first bites
Another feeding, still leftovers. I think none of the chicks were actually hungry but finally #2 accepted EJ's offerings and the other two took a bit too. EJ fed herself and went for a few seconds toilet break. Everything seems so serene and fine here
I've just come on to find EJ feeding the chicks:
Lindybird, I just came on too to see EJ feeding the chicks ... and then Odin arrived with a fresh fish which she grabbed immediately

....And as I wrote the above, Odin arrived with another fish, so maybe the other was caught earlier. This was a whole fish, and Odin stayed a few minutes to see his young ones being fed:
All lined up nicely ... #3 in the middle as usual ... but all getting a fair share
Wasn't that great, DjoanS ! He looked as if he was really studying the feeding. We were so lucky to have just come on.
Chicks feeding well, and EJ doling it out to all 3.
