Ej is resting and trying to keep the chicks warm but they are getting quite big now and it makes it harder for her to keep them under her breast at night..
At least now she seems to be catching a quick nap.

EJ looks relaxed and is spending some time preening while the wee ones are asleep.
Hi everyone. Thanks for starting the new thread Lynette. Thanks very much for all the updates, pics etc. since I last logged on. Absolutely amazed at how brilliant Odin is at providing for EJ and the brood. To end May with eight fish is nothing short of sensational. He is one amazing osprey. One of the chicks is gently squeeking on the nest at the moment ( I just love that sound) and EJ is trying to get them all settled. I think she might have a tough job getting them relaxed. Those chicks are just so bouncy and full of energy. :-)Well I'll have to drag myself away from the webcam because I have to go and roost. Happy New Month everyone. And a very Happy Tuesday. :-)Paul.

Morning all: Thanks for starting the thread Lynette!
Can't believe how light it is at LG. EJ is on the nest, back to camera with a curious chick poking up from underneath - no idea which one!
Uh oh. Turn my back and EJ leaves the nest - but not for long. here she is again. My goodness - #1 chick is big!! #2 is struggling to stand and Titch is trying to figure out how the heck to get out from under those two! EJ picking at fish already on nest - and she's flown off agan! Now #1 chick has got his/her head stuck somewhere under the others. EJ returns and settles down again.
Well I can hear muffled little peeps from under all those feathers. EJ has head down - maybe having a word with someone?
Hmm. Well we have color.
Incoming Odin. I think he brought a fish and is eating it - but his right talon was hidden when he landed and not sure if he actually brought the fish or is eating leftovers already on the nest.
EJ has not leapt up to grab anything from him...he definitely has something in his right talon and seems to have flown off without it....
Oh dear. I hear the plink, plink, plink of raindrops....
EJ has had some very rough breeding seasons with a couple of her mates. She deserves a wonderful mate like Odin. Last year she was reluctant to leave for her migration. I think she was so happy with Odin and the way that season had gone she hated to leave.
