Lindybird I have a Mac, but a PC must have this feature too so you can enlarge a picture.

I click on the picture and it comes up alone in another frame 

Then on the menu bar there is a drop down for "view"  From the drop down choose " Zoom in" Each time you click  "zoom in" the picture gets larger
