We have made a few changes and restarted everything. It does appear to be a little better now. So fingers crossed. A big thanks to Chris at Loch Garten VC for his help.

Morning ALL.  A lot of thank yous:   Many thanks to Scylla for bringing over Peter's (Carnyx) 18.42 post, and thank you Peter/Carnyx for continuing to keep us informed of progress, it really is appreciated.  Good luck to you and Julie!!  Thank you too to Mike for thinking of contacting the FH and getting their feedback, particularly confirming the 04.00 fish delivery - and thank you to the volunteer who was willing to pick up the phone and let you know the news!  Thank you Wendy for explaining the official use of the FH phones, it helps to have local knowledge. 

It was interesting just listening to the nest action with only occasional snapshots.  Given that there was an intruder after 10.00hr (kindly reported by 25mac with the post from RSPB OO) it could be that EJ went after the intruder.  I thought there had been EJ's softer calls, then the sound of wing flaps, followed by a slightly different call (Odin?) and EJ returning with gentle chips and then she started to feed.  All conjecture of course!

I've been looking and vaguely wondering, SHEILA.  Has the resolution improved?  That had seemed particularly bad this season up to now.

EJ alarming, or working up to a fish delivery?
