Hi folks: I'll be taking OH out to dinner for his birthday tonight, so will be MIA for a bit. Take care. All quiet on the nest now.
Oh dear, Heron, my heart was in my mouth as she dragged it over the chicks - she seemed determined on some kind of rearrangement....
Now she's back on the nest..
Mine too Lindybird.Beautiful day up this way today, its 21 degrees already in my back garden :o) Doesn't look so nice at LOTL :o(
She certainly was Lindybird, I was sure it was going to end in DErangement !!!
All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy. Spike Milligan
She dragged the bitty twigs right over the nest cup, and fought with it, trying to put it at one side - here is pic of the nest when she flew off to fetch the twigs:
you can just about make out that there are now two chicks.
EJ just flew off, but returned almost immediately, must have been a comfort break. Could just see two little bobbleheads looking out of the nest.
I see Odin hasn't been around for a while ... maybe he has gone fishing. I too was watching EJ re-arranging the nest ... and I was such a coward I couldn't watch for a while :( I felt sure she was going to decapitate one of the chicks or drag it out of the nest cup. Very warm here too ... but we are forecast heavy showers after lunch.

Fish!
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Odin brought in a fish and is looking on as EJ feeds herself and babies, its a bit for her and a bit for the chicks :o) The second chick (i think) is facing the wrong way and hasn't had any yet, it needs to move round a wee bit. Odin flown off. Second chick has moved over and might get some fish now, hope so... Yes! its getting fed now too :o) This is so sweet to watch.
