Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
One just flew right along the left-hand side of the Loch and into the trees.
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Hello Sandra, apologies for sending reply but I can't send comment?? I have been watching Lady/Marge et al since she arrived back in March, in previous years I have always watched LG site and visited since I was a child but this year due to her age I was drawn to the LOTL site but have only recently discovered how to catch up on the blog within this forum, but alas I don't know how to post without using reply or report abuse buttons. Is there something clever that I must do - I can post a comment on the main blog but these forums seem to be a little different. Thanks for the updates today, as I am just in from work and it is good to catch up.
Welcome Lmac: On these pages, you have to use the Reply option to post a comment and if you want to include the original post in your response, just click the blue words under that post! :-)
(sigh) every time I've logged onto camera one today it's been an empty nest - at least they've let us know what they're up to
Sure they're doing fine but hopefully will have more time to watch the LOTL family tomorrow
regards
Thanks Annette, I'm all set now.
Hi Lmac.
As Annette said, just click on reply :-)
I have been watching this nest for two years. I was first introduced to the LG nest and one day I discovered Lady.
I love this Osprey and the young she has had since the day that I found her. There is something so Special about her!!
I love EJ too, but Lady has a special place in my heart!!
I feel so sad that the nest is so empty now!
At 9pm :-(
lol Lofty!!
That is clever! :-)
9:24 and still an empty nest.
Time for me to close-off now.
Good night all, take care :-)
Bye.
Over to you Annette!! :-)
Haven't watched much today but I must admit Sandra that having only joined last year and watched mostly the LG site I have been drawn to the LOTL site after the illness that Lady contracted. Its has been wonderful to watch Laird caring for the youngsters, and Lady confounding us all be making the remarkable recovery she has. Whether she will return next year is in the lap of the gods as she is a grand old lady. The chicks are a credit to them both. Hope to catch more action tomorrow but the weather forecast is pretty grim for that part of the world. Kay sara sara, what will be , will be.
