Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
Good morning.
Here she is on her branch at 6:36.
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Both chicks wide awake now.
The nest looks pink at 9am.
All three looking out over the Loch.
As I logged on it looked like Lady and family were finishing the remains of a fish delivery.
All up and waiting expectantly. The two youngsters are on their feet and doing some preening, mum is looking towards the loch.
Lovely domestic scene

My favourite pic is always Lady on her favourite branch, she looks so content. Thanks for pics once again, Sandra. Hope they have another good day there at L. oftL.
Good morning Sandra and I am so grateful to you for all the pics. All saved so I can view anytime. We know this may be the last year for Lady so it is wonderful to have a record even though some was very sad. Who would have believed it, I am still amazed at her recovery. 2 thriving chicks, a wonderful mate in the Laird and EJ sitting on her favourite perch, it doesn't get any better. Apparently there is an article in the Sunday Mail so I am hoping it will not just be the Scottish Daily Mail.

Food at 2:30pm.
Margo.
It is my pleasure to put them on here for you and others. Not a lot of people seem to log-in to this family, it only seems like a handful of us that do.
I am saving a lot of these pics and going to print them out. I am then going to put them in a scrapbook to remind me of this Wonderful, Brilliant Bird and her "last young"
Feel quite choked now just thinking we may-not see her again!! :-(
Not sure if this is our Laird sitting in a very wind-blown tree.
