Well another day begins with the night-time. EJ is fidgiting again and rolling the eggs although the chicks sound quiet now and Lady at LOTL is having a moment - fidgiting a bit but now settled down.
All you early watchers I hope you find that EJ's 1st chick will have hatched. Capture it if you can and we will find out in the morning.
Goodnight all.

Here is EJ and her baby at 9:15am.
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Thats a good pic, Sandy.
The Radio Chaffinch probably has a nest right near EJ & Odin's. That was probably a wise and safe idea to have a nest so close to a powerful pair of Ospreys . If any predator birds decide to steal the Chaffinch eggs or young it would need to come too close to the LG nest and either Odin or EJ would promptly chase it away
Birds are wise :)
Perfect Sandy. I'll be relying on you for pics when I go off hiking a little later. (no pressure of cours :) )
Great pic Sandy.! Thanks
It looks like EJ disposed of the shell already.
