Well another day begins with the night-time. EJ is fidgiting again and rolling the eggs although the chicks sound quiet now and Lady at LOTL is having a moment - fidgiting a bit but now settled down.
All you early watchers I hope you find that EJ's 1st chick will have hatched. Capture it if you can and we will find out in the morning.
Goodnight all.

Yes, wonderful scene. EJ is refusing to move, so nothing to see yet and there are no chick sounds.
It tends to get busy just as I'm beginning to fade! Are you staying up? When I wake up that early I typically end up falling back into bed after a while.
If that chick has any sense it will stay tucked up where it is warm. LOL
I am wide awake at the moment . I will probably fade as the day progresses. EJ now softly calling.
EJ is calling to the chick very quietly.

Morning AQ. That mist does make it look rather cool. If the chick has already hatched, EJ will want to feed it, but we can't see anything yet.
I have been watching for the psat 30 mins or so and heard some chick sounds occasionally. There is also a small crackling sound that I heard last night, which could be the hole in the shell being enlarged? Going back to the 'land of nod, myself',
Hey AQ (again!) Didn't I just see you on Weekly Chat? :-) Actually it looks like a lovely morning at LG; maybe not a bad day to break out of your shell?
Morning jsb! My goodness, the entire daytime shift will be along soon at this rate! :-) Yes, I heard some odd muffled noises, but now the buzz has gone, not sure if they've been there all along or if they're chick-related.
I wish EJ would turn around so we can have a peek when she is peeking at the eggs. We need a mirror on the nest!!!
