I've had my screen zoomed as EJ has been wriggling around and the chick sounds very loud. I've found myself turning my head sideways when she moves, trying to get a better view of what's underneath! Wasn't there one overnight hatching last year?
Not me. As much as I would like to know, I think I can wait till morning.
Ooh er. Where did the spooky mist come from all of a sudden - oh no you can just imagine it, the first hatching and no-one can see it!

Chick seems to have quitened down. Has it hatched and having 40 winks after it's marathon? EJ not as wriggly or fidgety and I'm sure I saw her eating what looked like egg membrane a minute ago

Tish me too will be logging off soon and going to bed, all this osprey watching and worrying is very tiring. I notice the mist coming down and hopefully Odin will be able to find his way home in the morning because I am sure there is going to be a hatch soon and she will heed an early fish.

I hope not Tish. Won't matter to me though. Early night tonight as up at ridiculous o'clock in the morning.
Margobird, I think I'm going too. We'll see the pics in the morning and all will be well. I must do some gardening and potting on tomorrow. Everything is getting so behind. A good job the country didn't depend on osprey lovers!!

Don't be such a tease Sandy and sorry but I will soon be off to my bed. I am not a late night person but more a morning person, usually up about 6.00.
