EJ has just had another egg turning session. Clarity of night vision is much better.

Tough-guy Odin who will attack a flock of geese is afraid of the sounds coming from his eggs LOL
He laying very low as if he can stop them from moving if he is down far enough :)
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
I was intending to do things instead of sitting here at the computer watching every movement ... but I can't tear myself away in case Odin gets up to any more antics :-))

Hi Su. The female normally starts to talk to the eggs when they start making a noise. EJ's been doing it for a while now.
Stills camera has gone off now, for the night. Hope someone can take a video if anything dramatic happens....
This is my cousin Nancy's first year watching. Here is an email I got from her
I have been reading the blogs at work. I just read pg. 16-19 now when I got home. I was cracking up with everyone's description of Odin being afraid of the eggs and the "Odin Shuffle". I wish one day when you blog you thank them for me. All of you are so descriptive that it is almost like watching it. Since I only have the still pictures while I am at work, the blog makes it so interesting. MY THANKS TO EVERYONE. I don't know if all of you know how much it helps people who cannot view the webcam during the day. It is so much help. Maybe next year I will blog when I get one nesting season under my belt. By the way, my Roy Dennis book arrived. I will get it from my daughter tonight. I will be checking the blog tonight and first thing tomorrow before I leave for the rummage sale. Don't forget to email me if we have a chick. God bless our Odin and EJ. What a couple!!!Nancy
Evening all how busy the blog has been. I had to log out at about 4.30 as I needed the table for dinner. My laptop sits here all day but has to be moved at mealtimes.
Can see I have missed quite a lot and when I saw the heading on the main blog though I had missed the hatch. Poor EJ having to sit through a mini monsoon but glad to see it looks dry now.
How kind of her to share the fish with Odin especially as he kept her waiting so long. Is it still 2 fish today?
Going to catch up now (200 emails to scan) OH has gone out this evening to see Barry Cryer so I have a couple of hours to sit and watch.

Thanks Sandy and Tish. I've been Ospreyless for almost 3 weeks as I've had no 'net access and have only been popping in from gardening today to see the parents to be occassionally and haven't been reading the blogs or forum comments. Guess we'll be seeing chick #1 tomorrow!!!
Having a good laugh now over the observations of Odin. Has he forgotten that from these eggs his family will appear. Lovely pic of him Sandy.

You and me both Brenda. Got to make the most of tonight as will be out all afternoon tomorrow and quite a lot on Sunday so I just know I am going to miss a hatch. must make sure things are not arranged while we are waiting for hatching.
