Was so excited for EJ forgot to say good morning and thanks for all the observations and posts.
Cirrus thanks for the pics of the little one at LOtL being fed. I well up terribly at the moment every time I watch this marvellous sight. Have you watched the video of the Laird feedieng Lady, I think it is from last night. On the main blog page although I expect everyone knows about it. I am catching up on 265 email alers so I am way behind. Always look at new daily page first.
Margobird
Certainly did Brenda - and any time at all- I've caught EJ looking at the eggs like Lady has and is ! But I'm out hiking tomorrow - yikes- Sandy- LIndybird hope you catch the moment
I've been busy for 20 mins so have missed the action - glad to hear about the fish.
Odin is trying not to doze off on the nest.
Have to be 'in & out' at lot tomorrow so will do my best not to miss too much!
EDIT: I've noticed in the last 24 hours that EJ is definitely inspecting those eggs closely, so I'm sure she knows that they will hatch soon.
Agreed Lindybird.
EJ returns with nothing for Odin. Gentle peeps but Odin doesn't respond. Louder peeps but not too conerned. And finally off Odin flies without too much trouble on EJ's behalf
EJ back and chirping to Odin. Odin doesn't want to leave straight away. She flies off again and Odin gets ready to leave - perhaps not - he settles down again. Now what was all that about
Still Odin on nest.

Barbara Jean, Try right clicking on the picture and you will get a list of options, one of which will be Zoom.
EJ returned and did some peeping at Odin. When he didn't relinquish the eggs she flew off for another rest . He stood up as she flew away and realized he would be sitting a while longer .He sat back down on the eggs.
I am sure she knows the chicks will hatch soon and wants all the time she can get away from the nest
