Another day closer to the first egg hatching and I'm pretty sure Odin is still sitting after EJ flew off for a break. I could be wrong of course. Eagle eyes amongst you early morning viewers may be able to put me right.

Well, it's light at LG and I think Odin has flown around the nest since I've seen wings passing by and EJ is peeping. Now she's getting up and - and - she's inspecting the eggs and there goes whoever by the nest again. She's not bothered and has sat down again. Hmm. Show yourself, Odin. :-)
EJ is calling, but still not bothered.
OK EJ up and looks like she's about to depart - and off she goes and - and - oh come on Odin - I'm sure I can hear him faintly, nearby but off-camera. Huh. But that's EJ that just came back. Hmmm.
HiAll the osprey excitement makes leaving the laptop very difficult. Mind you I find it very hard to drag my eyes away from any wildlife.I am feeling a bit better thankfully. Although a brief trip away today told me I'm still not back to full power. On the outside trying to keep my vigorous nose blowing and cough to a minimum. On the inside I felt like the Black Knight from Monty Python's The Holy Grail. I'm not going to complain though there's many feeling worse than me.Great news about LG going onto mains electricity today. Off from about 9am to noon? Hope the withdrawl symptoms aren't too bad. I'll be able to watch all the videos I've saved though.EJ softly calling. Then she left for a quick break and now she's back.Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Daylight!
So we have color now.... EJ looking about but quiet\ with just an occasional peep.
As usually at this time of the day, EJ tunes into Radio Chaffinch. :-)
Hey Heron: Glad you're here to confirm the correct wavelength on EJ's radio! I know Radio Cuckoo when i hear it, but am bad at ID'ing other programs.
EJ's off again. A bug just crawled across the lens.... Who's that in the background - and it's ODIN. OK fella, it's about time! Here he is with his trademark tippytoeing....and splat! - into the cup face first.
Annette, apart from a small handful, I'm awful at clearly identifying birdsong. Really hoping to improve vastly in this area.
