Hi to all early morning watchers. Looks peaceful at the moment at LG.
EJ sitting and perhaps dozing off from time to time. Got to get her beauty sleep before the young ones arrive.
All peaceful at LOtL as well.

Good Morning.
I found that last escapade very funny. It was like watching an ancient slapstick silent movie.
It was good wasn't it Brenda.
EJ waiting patiently for her breakfast and having a good look round, radio chaffinch in the background.
I have just been reading on LOtL blog, that they have noticed in previous years, that the female bird becomes more possessive of her eggs before hatching and that is why, they think, she would not leave the nest this morning.
Good morning all and thanks for the posts and pics. Sounds very windy again at LG but hopefully it is not a cold wind although I believe it rained last night. Laughed at the observations of Odin wanting to egg sit but EJ having none of it until she gets a fish. Was there just 2 fish yesterday, I have lost count. Still not back in any kind of routine after Venice trip but EJ and Odin watchig is taking priority at the moment. Got up really early and did housework and washing so I can spend the rest of the day just watching and waiting.
We might even get a hatch at LoTL today. Lady was awfully restless yesterday and apparently she didn't have any of the fish that Y7 eat on the nest.
Have a good day all.
Margobird
Lady has now left the nest to eat a fish and the male is now sitting on the eggs.
EJ still sitting quietly.
Morning everyone. Thanks for all the picture and reports.
EJ looking lovely in the sun today:)
Brenda: I'm very grateful to you for keeping me up to date on LoTL situation. I don't look in enough to even recognise the difference between Lady and Laird. Was most concerned about her not eating any of the second brought in so late yesterday. And pleased she is eating now - I wonder why she does not eat on her 'look out' bough or even in the nest with the Laird being so lax about the precious eggs. It sure is heart in the mouth stuff there. SO pleased EJ has Odin.
Morning Gary.

Morning/afternnoon Cirrus:) Hope all Ok with you.
Just off to start my day so catch up later.
It looks as though EJ had taken an exercise flight came back and stood at the edge of the nest, flapping wings and preening and has now flown off. Took a few moments but Odin is now on the nest and settling himself down.
Got that wrong, it was Odin on the nest at the edge and EJ came flying in.
