Evening all. Good grief. We already have color at LG. EJ is on the nest; all looks peaceful.
Lynette: You asked Gary where he's located. He did answer you the first time around (Saturday?), but seems you either missed it or the posts got messed up. Anyway, you asked again yesterday and Emma responded; then Gary responded again (he said he wasn't ignoring you!). Anyway, Gary is in Connecticut in the Eastern U.S., but he's a Brit, like me! (Sorry if this all sounds complicated)

Just catching up again. Great pics by the way. At least she's had a second fish today after only one yesterday(probably because of the wind)
EJ having a look at those eggs and turning them before settling again - she looks lovely in the early evening sun.

I have been out most of today.
What a brilliant afternoon. Two fish in two hours.
Once again, thanks for ALL your observations and pictures and Gary for your much appreciated recordings.
Nice to see that EJ has had two fish in quick succession and is now enjoying a prolonged period off the eggs. She probably knows that the hatching is imminent and that she won't get many more opportunities to take such a lengthy break.
Evening folks. Did EJ bring a fish in for Odin just now?
EJ returns -
EJ just returned and brought a large piece of the fish back for Odin . He took it and flew away They share so well!!

At about 5.30 , Emma.
Ah Barbara Jean - they are sharing the fish. Thanks for that! Hi Lindybird.
Not many creatures in the animal or bird world have much of a concept of sharing, so its all fascinating. (except of course when they feed their young, which is different).
EJ now enjoying a bit of evening sun:
EJ is now 'peeping' again, wonder if another fish is imminent....
