OK. Date and year are okay. EJ on her nest; Light over the horizon. Here goes another day at LG.
It does make sense, Lynette. If there are different threads for different subjects,we can all pick & choose which we have time to look at/contribute to. Personally, I read some of the threads on here but never contribute to them as I'm only a novice when it comes to birds, compared to some of the very informed people who do.
That wind is not getting any less.
Just looked at Aviemore forecast, which shows gusts of 28mph. Sounds worse than that to me.
Thanks for letting me know about Alan. No pressure for me then!!! I'll do my best but due to the time difference, Odin has normally delivered his first catch of the day before I've turned my machine on:) Still, now I know, I'll try my best.
Great capture of them trying to stay on the nest in the wind. What a day.
Ej returns and turfs Odin off the eggs!

Changeover: got a strange looking pic from the stills cam:
He'd been on there a long time, DjoanS - I wondered if she had been fishing for herself !
I felt so sorry for Odin. He was so comfortable and then gave a big stretch as if he had been woken up.
Lindybird - looks like we've got a headless EJ now!

I am only a novice too and do most of my watching via the internet. I don't drive so I don't get out to birdwatch and my husband isn't all that interested. So it might give us more of a chance at picking a choosing which we find we can watch and contribute to. Does that make sense, I know what I want to say but it doesn't always come out right.
