Hi everyone, late night bird tonight. Have just logged on again after being out and catching up with the soapies on the TV. Wonderful pics from DJoanS, Lindybird, Alan, and Alicat.
At present cannot get a picture but buzzing from the mike , so sound is there but no pic. Will try refreshing to see if its back. My fault it was there all the time I forgot to click on the pic whiilst I was typing this. EJ looks contented and looking around from time to time. I don't know how cold it is up there but hope she is keeping herself warm.
Hello to Annette in SoCal, Auntie, and the rest from far afield enjoy the early hours of the morning watching our wonderful ospreys. EJ having a moment of restlessness but setlling down again.
Signing off for the night.

By now Odin ( and EJ) can feel the chick (s) moving in the shell. It is only 9 days until chick # 1 should hatch. Perhaps feeling the chicks move motivates Odin to step up his fishing pace.

I came on this morning to hear a very noisy wind blowing, and EJ sitting on the nest with feathers fluffed up & blowing around.
A windswept EJ:
Fishing will be impossible right now I fear, but, at 10am the Met Office are forecasting 32mph gusts, about the same in the afternoon.

Oh dear. Good job they ate well yesterday, then.
Good Morning. I hear what you mean about the wind. I had to turn the computer volume right down.
Poor EJ is almost being blown off the eggs.
Notice how EJ is facing into the wind.
Good morning all, logged on to see that it is very windy again at LG. As people have said, they ate well yesterday so if fishing proves impossible today at least they shouldn't go hungry.
By the way, lovely morning down here in Northants, sun shining and not much wind but it could all change later
EJ doing her best to stay on the nest, really getting rufflled.
