Evening all. Good grief. Was about to say it's light already at LG and the cam just went down! (EJ was on the nest at the time.)
The whole site seems to be having picture gremlins today Linda. Just been checking and there has been no mention of Odin since 6.46am.
Another try from just now:
AAARGH!!!!
Didn't like to say, Brenda but he does seem to be rather absent. Wish he was as good at fishing as EJ. Maybe the wind is ruffling the water for him.
afternoon/morning all.
Thanks for the updates. Sounds a quiet day, apart from the weather. Poor EJ:(
She's sitting in the sun right now.
Just checked on Diary page and there are only two posts today.
Linda, I didn't think the wind sounded as bad today. I know the fish farm is further away from the nest, but I wish Odin would find it. Easier fishing there and bigger fish, but then the female birds are capable of carrying larger fish than the male. I guess Odin can't be around as EJ is extremely quiet.
Good Afternoon Gary.
It is hailing again. I have noticed that Ej & Odin don't allow the eggs to be exposed more than a minute during their change overs in this cold weather. If Ej has to leave for a quick break she usually waits until Odin is in the vicinity and he rushes to the nest when she leaves
It is only 11 days until chick #1 should hatch so I am sure EJ & Odin can feel it moving it's shell.
Odin may be staying close to the nest and not leaving to fish very often because of the intruders , but he also knows it is cold and may want to be near by to rush to the eggs if EJ needs a poop break
They are smart birds who know what they are doing . Plus EJ is perfectly content with the way they are doing things. All looks well on the nest except for the poor weather.

EJ calling. Hope it means Odin is around having his share of a fish.
Thanks Alicat I am sure we will enjoy.
Brenda I too am hoping that Odin is nearby and that EJ can see him as she cheeps quietly on the nest.
