Hi to all night owls and those across the water.
EJ looks peaceful on the nest - just having a fidgit and moving the eggs around but otherwise all is well.
Happy watching and see you in the morning.

Good night Brenda H. I'll be here for another half hour or so. The rain (or what I though was rain) seems to have disappeared so at least it seems dry for now. Rain showers forecast overnight and 1 degree Celcius for us in the morning! Brrr
Thanks Lynette yes we go in the early hours of Wednesay. I had hoped that Odin might call in but it wasn't to be. I think he might have been quite close though as EJ was making gentle peeping noises.

Will do Emma Peel. It will probably take me days to catch up but I have to read everything as I don't like to miss anything.
Well, it looks peaceful enough on the nest and EJ is resting and trying to keep warm with the cold night ahead. Just perked her head up as though she detected something, looking straight at the camera now, then away to the side. Up she gets, turns those eggs and down she goes and hopefully settles again.
Night, night to all the night owls - . See you in the morning.

Hi everyone. Many thanks to all for the many updates, observations, picture, and videos. The weather's been horrible up at Loch Garten. Those hailstones look painfull for poor Odin and EJ. All I can say is: Go away winter weather! You had your turn. Leave the Ospreys alone! Excuse the weather rant but who knows it might work. ;-)Things looking calm at LG at the moment. Hope EJ has a peacful night.Paul
