Oh my. Wind and rain now sloshing down on the nest.
Brenda H. I've just checked the weather forecast for the next couple of weeks and it looks set to get significantly colder!! I know that it's unwise to rely too much on weather forecasts but I'm beginning to wonder when we are ever going to get even average temps for this time of year.
This is the Metcheck forecast for next week in Aviemore - brrrrr!

Correction. I think its hailing down now, yes it is.
Well thank goodness that didn't last long. Poor EJ. She needs a brolly.
Sandy, thanks but those temperatures, make me worry more. Just heard the hail, which must hurt EJ.
It was a short burst of rain and hail. All quiet now. Sleet forecast on and off for tomorrow in the LG area. Groan.
Oh yuk. Horrid weather to come, eh? Thanks for posts - and dibnlib for news of the pending new camera.
Just catching up to date and it seems EJ didn't get a second fish today. Do hope the cold and wet weather predicted moves away fast and doesn't chill EJ or Odin too much when they are sitting.
All looks quiet now on the nest. Can't hear any rain on the mike so trust it is fine. Can't even hear the wind so let's hope that has dropped for the time being.

There are those funny noises by the mike again and EJ is looking round as if to say "what the heck". So strange, could it be the rain on the mike? It looks like it is raining so that is probably what it is and what it was this afternoon when I heard them.
