RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Hi Annette.I can't quite make out Radio Chaffinch, although I can hear a station that's quite like it. I do hear Cukoo FM though.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Heron: :-))) I've been listening to Woodpecker Wadio all day here.
Color! Hurray. I know I make a big deal out of this, but it's soooo much nicer than blurry black and white.
Woodpecker Radio? Annette, do they play a lot of songs that have drum solos on that station? LOL. So sorry. Couldn't resist that. The Breakfast Show has just started on Chaffinch Radio. I expect EJ to give the fish report soon.A mad change of camera buzzing sound; and we have light! Oh I mean colour. And another change of camera buzz note. I'll finish this post before it becomes a very long commentary on electrical noises.
Yes Heron, lots of Gene Krupa fans here - they practice on telephone polls, tree trunks, and chatter a lot in between sets. Maybe EJ is waiting for Special Fish Correspondent Odin to file the latest update? Maybe a financial report on fish futures? You can tell it's easy to get quite daft at this time of night.
Annette, woodpeckers do take their art seriously. I once saw a Great Spotted Woodpecker, act very furiously. I think a starling and a sparrow had damaged his high-hat pedal and hid a couple of his toms. You're right it's very easy to get daft at this time of day. Mind you my daftness isn't really time specific if truth be told.
Maybe it's SAD: Seasonal Affective Daftness?
That is brilliant! Now, finally I have an excuse/ explanation. Next time anyone say: "Paul, you should be locked up in a loony bin!" I just need to say: "No. Don't think so. It's Seasonal Affective Daftness, actually." Have to stop typing. Can't stop laughing.
Hmm. I had the Weekly Chat page open and heard and saw some flapping - did Odin fly by?
Sorry, didn't hear the flapping. Was away from the laptop. Maybe it was Odin because if it was an intruder I'd probably have heard the alarm calls. Might've just been EJ stretching her wings. I saw her do that during the night, although she didn't leave the nest.
