Evening all. Quiet on the nest.
I hear geese. Odin returns, moving branches, EJ ignores him so he's gone.

The geese are active this morning. Odin brought in a fish at 9.14am yesterday so as we have just seen Odin, we won't see a repeat this morning.
Morning from me. I came on to find EJ dozing quietly on the nest, listening to the other birdies lovely songs. She looks serene with her yellow moss furnishings, and of course, her favourite decoration, the large piece of bark!
Just read through the evening posts from last night - do go and see if you havn't as there is a great pic on there of EJ & Odin in the evening light. Sometimes the best scenes are in the early morning or in the dying light of the evening, when their feathers seem lit up.
I leave for my shopping mission now, with EJ happily watching the other birds and looking like a contented expectant Mum, on her precious eggs.
Just as I leave, can hear EJ giving a gentle version of her food soliciting chirp, but she doesnt look excited so doubt if she can see Odin yet.
This year's "must have" furnishing - the bark - really could be a nuisance after the hatchings - wouldn't like to see one of the chicks being hit round the head with that!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Odin swaps in.
Morning all, just logged on, to find , is it Odin sitting? Has she had a fish delivery and gone to eat it or just gone for a stretch? I hear radio chaffinch singing his sweet song in the background.

Good morning original goldfinch it certalnly seems to the "must have" as the male at LOTL is doing the same thing. Odin busy with moving the bark around and general housework.

Fish at Lowes, looks like a biggie. She's been calling for a while. He immediately sits on.
