Morning All. EJ sitting quietly on the nest, birdsong in the background. No wind, probably slightly damp.
Plenty of cuckoo sounds today, they are very busy at LG. EJ is quietly 'peeping' now, as if perhaps she can see her Man & wondering if he will egg sit.
Off she goes! To be replaced in less than 30 seconds by Odin, who looks around then v e r y carefully sits over the eggs.
EJ flies off and Odin dutifully flies in to egg-sit. Radio chaffinch and radio cuckoo in full voice this morning!

Here he is settling down:
Lovely pic, DjoanS! the birdsong today is very loud and clear. Perhaps because there isnt any wind.
He's a bit fidgety this morning ... up ... down ... poke a twig ... shuffle his bottom! Obviously he has got over his major huff of last night ... I still giggle to myself when I think about that :)))
It was wonderful to get home last night and finish Wednesdays 'episode' of the drama called The Nest AT LG - here's what I wrote to acknolwdge you all cos it was all so good.
Oh what absolutely splendid posts !! You fab lot - I so enjoyed reading the story since 6 pm and A FISH - ok ok BrendaH I truly am suitably chastised and I slap my own wrist . You are trusty and true and like Superman, you do not tell a fib !!! Odin brought a fish. I will never doubt you again.
Pics just great Sandy and Lindybird and DJoanS – they make such a difference. As do your videos Alan – you splendid bloke you F.A.B
Goodnight to you all them and Hello Wattle - the fort is all yours :)
Good morning and thanks to DJoan and Lindybird for pics. Golly! I think Odin or Chaffinch landed on the mike underneath the nest just then !!!!! No fish yet then but hey! it's early :)
Emma; the Normal False False secret code happens when I type my post in Word and then copy and paste it in the reply page (does rather look like something out of 'Spooks' though, doesn't it :) )
