Yes well, no live camera, no update. Here's hoping it's back on line soon!
I normally like to post late night captures of a contented EJ on the nest, but tonight she has been scouring the skies for hours, forlornly awaiting a non-existent fish delivery from Odin:
I'm fairly certain that Odin has not been to the nest since before noon.
There have been some long gaps today between our posts, as a lot of us have been busy elsewhere. Its possible that there was a fish delivered this morning when no-one here was watching.
Just, no Lindybird. Nothing up to intruder time and then Odin took off after the intruder and EJ returned to the nest. . I've done a lot of looking in this pm and evening . It's always been EJ on the nest
Cirrus, I wonder if we should adopt our posture from last year, which was to try not to worry too much and assume things are OK unless we are told otherwise? I hope this doesn't come as patronising (which it isn't meant to be:)))
Of course not Gary. Thank you
Well Cirrus, looks like we'll have to wait til morning . Keep our fingers crossed and Gary is right. We muast look on gthe bright side.
Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.
Well folks, it looks like Odin did not deliver according to all the blogs. Lets hope he does so first thing in the morning. After the drama of today it looks peaceful on the nest now. Night, Night, EJ.

Night Night from me, too.
Just looked in to catch up on the day's happenings and it seems this has not been an easy day on the osprey nest with several intrusions and even a landing on the nest. EJ and Odin must be pretty tired after all that. Lets hope Odin is roosting close to the loch and is ready to bring in an early fish to EJ. It is daylight here by 5.20am and probably soon after 5am up at LG so there is every chance Odin brought an early fish to EJ this morning even before the camera was working again. Lets hope the nightshift spot an early one tomorrow. Emma
Night all and will hope for good fishing tomorrow:)
