Aaack. Late starting this and it's already light at LG ( but looks like EJ on nest).
Looks like a bird, Emma, have just compared it with my previous pic, and Sandy's. It seems to have appeared and disappeared! so maybe it was a little bird we did not see before - well spotted!
Hello Gary, Lindybird,Margobird,Chloe,Emma, Tiger, Sandy - hope your personal Sundays are going well for you.
Lindybird - EJ wasn't away long enough this morning to have caught a fish - also - she is moulting - not good for fishing so, I really think the half hour that Odin was egg sitting was just 'a break ' from the nest and exercising wings. Unfortunately. I'm very grateful for all your posts having just got back and I really do agree with you about each bird having its own 'personality', . You're so good with the pics posts - they help so much in 'keeping up to date with the ''doings'' of the nest' - so thanks for those as well. And still no video cam - oh well, I'll try and keep remembering to refresh the page of the STILL cam and hope to spot Odin bringing in a fish.
Oh dear ! it seems the still cam has frozen at 13.43 pm - my page won't refresh it . Oh well, (again). Let's hope for an early mend of the vid cam.
EDIT phew, the STILL cam has started to refresh again Or has it . My still cam is an hour slow!!!!!
afternoon all.
Just seeing EJ sitting "still" on the stills camera!
Emma, I haven't noticed that but Linda has better eyesight than me!
Jane, thanks for the sock update!! Your trip is coming around soon.
Cirrus: The time on the stills cam has been 'wrong' since the Hour Change. If you go back to my first pic of today, taken just after 9.30 am, it says on it 8.31am.
Here is EJ looking over her shoulder (at what? ) just now:
Oh, bless you Lindybird - what a silly I am - should have twigged. Wish it could have been at an incoming Odin with a fish :) (EJ looking over her shoulder)
Been away and come back on - No webcam yet?? ; - (
Here is EJ just now:
--at least the sun is shining on the nest.
So it is :) EJ looks so at ease . Trust there is a fish coming soon.
Just home from shopping mission and read David Anderson's update on the main blog. For those of you who have not seen it, here it is (at 15.05):
Sorry about the web-cam, we're working on getting it re-booted. In the mean time, rest assured that all is fine on the nest, Odin has brought in a fish today and we think he is off catching another one so we will hopefully see him back here soon. There has been one intruder who flew over the area. it didn't land on the nest but still caused Odin some distress. All is peaceful for now.
Emma
Emma THANK YOU. I am so relieved to read of a fish and a possible second
