OK guys, I think EJ will be on her own tonight. We have some friends by the house and will pop in when I can.....but also need to get some rest after a somewhat frustrating day. EJ on the nest and all is well at this point.
Well, that's a relief, frankly DJoan (hope the dinner was SPLENDID :) ) at one point I thought my PC would actually crash. Lindybird (as you have read I'm sure) has also had problems. I thought it was odd that over an hour went by without posts and nobody mentioned the change over to Odin .
Cirrus - dinner was great! ... I'm half relieved that the site was 'down' ... it meant I spent the afternoon gardening instead of being glued on the ospreys (sunny & warm here). I hear EJ nagging so Odin must be visible ... or hiding where she knows he is!
Joan - avid bird and nature watcher in Northumberland!

Warm ! yikes DJoan, where do you live? It's dry here after a rainy am and early pm but I can't say it's warm . The sunshine looks wonderful at LG. I noticed early that Odin actually had his beak open when he was egg sitting so it must be warm there (relatively speaking, I'm sure). Glad you got the gardening done.
EDIT - I've just spotted Northumberland under your post. I am truly amazed that 's it's warm there !! :)
EJ just got up for a stretch and a preen. Looks like she is moulting a lot now.
Some lovely pics captured, folks. EJ looks contented on the nest at the moment, just did a spot of egg turning.
Will catch up with all the blogs on Sun/Mon as going away for the weekend.

Cirrus - yes ... Northumberland ... often regarded as the frozen north :))) I hope its as warm for EJ on the nest ... she deserves a bit of heat to go with all that sitting around!
Have a nice weekend away, Lynette.
Has been rather chilly here today in the North West of England. Have just put the heating on, hope that OH doesn't notice till later!
Glad to see that there was a fish earlier, even if it was rather late. Thanks to All for posts and pics of today.
Yes, have a great weekend Lynette. And I'm hoping for another fish (the first one was not big) before I go to work and oh no , is that rain I hear. EJ, EJ, my heart goes out to you. (may OH never realise you've put the heat on Lindybird, we girls do feel the cold so . I'm convinced human males run on a higher blood pressure to us girls)
I missed Odin arriving again. Did he bring a second fish? Or is he just spelling EJ.
EDIT rats! I mistook. It's EJ
OK, off to work in 10 mins and no second fish yet. Hopefully, one of you good people will do a fish report for me to read when I get home about 10.20 pm . Sigh.
Have a good evenings viewing everyone.
