Evening all. All looks quiet on the nest.
I can hear the little song birds better than I can hear EJ. Anyone else agree on that? And the camera now seems to have a 'rushing' sound instead of a buzz. (well, that's really low in the background as agin the rushing sound) - anyone agree on that please?
EDIT Hi Brenda
Maybe the rushing is the wind - but it really drowns EJ's voice out. I can hardly hear her.
Hi - I thought the microphone sounded different this morning when I came on - or is it me?
I think it is different Lindybird - now I can hardly hear the Chaffinch !!!
Maybe some of that moss has blown onto the microphone, deadening it....
I've posted on the technical forum about it Lindybird, although, I have to say I can, just about, hear EJ now. Does the wind sound absolutely balistic to you?
EDIT I'm gong to do a re-start in case it makes a difference
No I think its just a bit gusty as regards wind, like it was yesterday. The buzzing of the microphone is the usual tone but because we're not hearing the sounds properly it sounds like wind.
EDIT: All the same, that was a big gust, poor EJ was blown about a bit like yesterday when we thought she was going to be blown off the nest!!
Cirrus & Lindybird, the sound has been sort of muffled all morning for me too

Hi auntie: are your two nests on the webcams in Finland doing OK?
Good morning all just logged in and EJ is calling EJ, she sounds quite insistent so perhaps she needs a fish. Hope that is what Odin is doing at the moment. Microphone noise is different this morning as you say. First posts said not windy and I though good, but it seems to blowing up again, ruffling EJ's feathers. thanks for the pics too. Just going to catch up with weekly and other updates now.
