Evening all. All looks quiet on the nest.
I lie. Odin just started making that loud, clear cheep I heard earlier. OK, really am off to bed now.
EJ is on the eggs, sitting quietly, watching and listening, faint capercaille clocking noise in the background.

Morning All: EJ is on the nest, sitting quietly. Looks dry this morning, but could be cold, I think.
I just caught a brief glimpse of the three eggs, everything is in order. She is just sitting patiently as I reported earlier.
Hello everyone: when I got home from work last night I caught up with the blog and saw the pic kindly supplied by Lindybird . Odin brought EJ a very small headless fish . Not much of a snack for either of them but with winds gusting up to 75 mph yesterday it must have made fish just horrendous so well done Odin. The breakfast fish was nothing to celebrate much either so I really hope Odin makes a good breakfast for himself today and manages to find a decent sized fish for EJ . They both need a good 'dinner' meal if you know what I mean. The wind looks liked it's eased somewhat but it still looks breezy. I really do hope the weather settles down soon - with the nest so exposed even winds of 16 mph (which it's supposed to be today in Boat of Garten) could produce uncomfortable gusts. Oh, flippin 'eck , do I hear an Odin cheeping stage left or right? If so , he's not yet fishing - I really wish he would.

EJ just stood up flapping wings - didn't see the intruder though. Incident settled quickly.
Morning all ... just caught off-screen osprey 'chirping' ... and EJ mantling ... intruder osprey maybe? All quiet now though.

Hi DJoan - many thanks for the pic
Golly, you can't fight a jet EJ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! actually, that's what it seemed like LoL - great noisy thing. But there must have been the same intruder around again.
And the wind is getting up again. Rats !!!!!!!!
Hi Cirrus, I thought exactly the same. She does seem very aware of something around this morning.
