Hi all: Am getting "server error" messages all the time; hope it clears up. Does not appear to be affecting posts.
Gary posted the following link at the end of yesterdays page. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cWsKzSZcuQ . For anyone who missed it, there was an intruder on the nest yesterday and Gary also posted several links to videos showing one of the incidents.
I just signed on again; nest was empty, but EJ immediately there - must've gone for a little stretch.
EJ's back very quickly - lot of communicating and Odin has flown off and left EJ to settle

Hooray I got it right for a change, still find it hard sometimes to distinguish between male and female. Madge has certainly got herself a very handsome toy boy. He has just come back to take over nest duty.

Odin awaiting his turn to incubate:
Thank you everybody. After a very busy day, I have been able to catch up, reading all your comments.
thanks for the pic of Odin waiting Alan. Funnier earler on today when EJ just about shoved him off the eggs. He really does like this part of the job.
Odin returns, for a spot of house work. No fish delivered but EJ didn't moan at him. 6.58pm
Morning all (well late morning here; evening in the UK, and super-early morning in OZ.
Gary: Hysterical video of EJ having to pry Odin off the eggs. :-)) Alicat: Woke up in the middle of the night thinking "Where did Alicat go?" Sorry you haven't been feeling well; hope recovery speeds up for you.
Annette, that was so funny, she almost kicked him off!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sUaMANAuEc6pm ish Odin returned to the nest, bringing a small twig with him (about 3mins 10 seconds in) and EJ doesn't get up so off he goes again
EJ relaxing now, 9.16pm
Thanks everybody for your updates, it looks like EJ is settled on the nest now for the night. Lovely pics of them together - I thought I'd captured one but it turned out to be just of EJ? At least Alan you managed it so I shall put in into my osprey folder. Its a great pic of them both together isn't it!!
Starting Tuesday thread now.
