Hi all: Am getting "server error" messages all the time; hope it clears up. Does not appear to be affecting posts.
Gary posted the following link at the end of yesterdays page. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cWsKzSZcuQ . For anyone who missed it, there was an intruder on the nest yesterday and Gary also posted several links to videos showing one of the incidents.
I just signed on again; nest was empty, but EJ immediately there - must've gone for a little stretch.
Good to see our pair looking so settled and content today. Nice sunshine, even if it is a bit breezy.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Margobird : You were right it was the male at LOTL. I could see his leg ring when he stood up to reveal the eggs.
Thanks for confirming it was the male - as I don't watch LOtL too much I miss distinguishing both ospreys. Is it still Eric on the eggs or has there been a changeover?
Late afternoon sun is shining on EJ and all looks peaceful - nice after yesterday.

Lynette : I have not seen a changeover but have not been watching all the time. The close ups were fantastic.

Totally agree Alan - so lovely to see closeups from time to time.Odin just come back to the nest and is telling EJ to hop it whilst he does a stint. EJ not in any great rush to do so. He is just standing by her.
Hi everyone. Thanks so much for all the updates. Great to hear there's been a fish delivery today. Can't imagine how hard it must be for Odin, in those winds. Still very windy at LG but it least it's dry.Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Odin has returned:
Well, I'm off to work now so I'll wish you all a good evening's viewing and hope one of you reports a second fish delivered before dark. Odin visiting just now in late sunshine. They look so nice together. EJ peeping but it's gentle . Getting louder !
Oh that wind.
He is still asking her to hop it so he can do his turn but EJ seems to be in no rush to get off the eggs.
Finally EJ has let Odin take his turn and she has flown off, probably to catch her tea.
