Evening all: Gary and AQ were watching until about 2 a.m. UK time. I'm late starting! EJ is on the nest with just the barest, faintest, slightest hint of the morning over the hills
Well, it looks like we have the evening scenario - EJ all settled for the night and no doubt Odin will visit before dark. So, two small fish today - will someone confirm that? - the size I mean. He does very well , our Odin, so we can't complain and I not - the loch or river makes available what it does.
But meanwhile I'll do a bit of catch up TV on BBC iplayer with only half an eye to camera.
Perhaps it was a centipede !! I'm off now, too. See you all tomorrow.
Margobird: Thanks again for the LOTL update; happy the male is getting into the swing of things.
Glad to see it's been uneventful for a while.
EJ (I presume) is nicely settled and quiet on the nest
I've just logged on again and witnessed a changeover - was that Odin flying off for the night, with EJ coming back on the nest. Because its dark can't quite tell. Anyhow, seems settled now after the drama of the day.

I certainly missed an exciting day! Thanks for all the pictures , reports and videos!!
I wouldn't want to tangle with EJ when she is defending her nest . I'll bet just the power of her flapping wings could knock someone out not to mention the damage those large talons could do.
The intruders may need to get busy and build a new nest .
Now All is quiet on the nest
Thanks again!!

Hey Gary: I'm getting "server error" messages on the Weekly Chat, which is being very slow. How clever of you to be able to upload videos. I still haven't got around to figuring out MWSnap. Oh well. Sounds windy at LG.
Starting a new thread for Monday now.
