I realised from Tiger and chloes Clocks this nest was ready to hatch.
and wondered if others have been watching?
Beat me to it Starling Thank you,
Well what a girl, she certainly making up for all the sadness, as before just be safe little one.
Be interesting to see stats on her tracking later.
I don't think it mentions the name on that blog, but the winning name was Bega, after the founder of the church on Bassenthwaite Lake.

In the blog it saysOn her right leg there is a thin metal band with her unique number, and on her left leg is a blue colour ring with the white letter/number combination V5, both issued by British Trust for Ornithology.
Surely a mistake?
Tiger Signature
Yes, Tiger, the captures by Kate at the top of the page show the blue ring on the right leg, as it should be!
Kind regards, Ann
This morning sees young Bega moving sticks.and becoming aware of activity beyond the safety of the Nest, yes blue definitely on the right leg.

The ring leg has been corrected, to blue on right, on the blog now.
