Last month we started the thread off with egg watch, this month it is hatch watch. Will it be two years in a row with three beautiful chicks on this nest, well it won't be long until we find out.

Good Morning Kate
I wonder if they will mention the intrusion in a blog.
All looks well there, Lassie being illuminated in the sunshine she has a tiny feather hanging from her beak.

Latest Blog ... An Unwanted Intruder
An update on the disturbance - thank goodness no harm was done.
My goodness that could have been disastrous. Thanks Karen for bringing over and well done to all the staff at the VC for implementing their alarm process and procedure so efficiently and effectively.
Well done to Kate for spotting and reporting on here as it was all happening.
Thank goodness we have a response, from Lowes.
I was beginning to think, that Osprey and other Nest watching, I was imagining voices. As no one else was commenting. CHOL:):)
I have never seen a bird move so fast off the nest, they were very near, and as I previously mentioned, may possibly have been foreigners to our shores, as the voices came nearer( in Very close proximity) one shouted and repeated to the other, that " There is a river,( and with the commotion also upsetting the geese and other nesting ground level birds) he continues to think a Goose maybe in trouble. Doh!! Quite how they were able to get that close is mind boggling.
