However did I manage to get in ahead of the lovely Annette and the excellent Diane to start this thread? Goodness only knows. Perhaps both ladies are all Trumped out!!
Have a good week, everyone - and special thoughts to Margo, her lovely hubby and Billie!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Brenda - What a long day you've had. You must be tired now. Hope your neighbour recovers: they are lucky to have you there to lend a hand.
We got home at about 7.30, after a reasonable journey. We did see Police cars and an ambulance going fast in the other direction at one point, so someone else has had a bad day.
Hello Keith and welcome on here. You live in a beautiful part of the country. Sorry about your OH's illness, but good to see that you are doing your best to deal with the stresses of your life. Lovely to hear about your grandchildren. Do post again and stop lurking.
I live in E. Sussex and have two children. Son is married and daughter will marry in September.
Happy to hear you had a reasonable journey home, Linda, especially on a Bank holiday, Monday. I guess you all ( including Bonnie ) will sleep well tonight.
Didn't intend to come home today originally, Brenda, but the weather wasn't great so we decided to risk the journey on a busy day. We did enjoy ourselves this morning, and then I got delayed after lunch, saying Hello and Goodbye at the same time, to some friends we have made.
Blimey.......it's Leicester!
Indeed Clare. I have been watching!! A bit X rated at times with all that violence!

Saw the result of the football tonight - just amazed, as the odds seemed impossible.
In bed now & can't see straight, so better get some rest! Night All.
------------
Annette - you must be tired, too, as you have me and OG mixed up.....!
Brenda - sorry to learn about the break-in to your son's car.
Annette - both you and your sister and those on this page who do their gardening put me to shame. Afraid I'm not a gardner at all and will only do what is necessary.

Lindybird - see you are somewhere in N.Wales - we are heading up there in a couple of weeks, staying in a cottage on the Llyn Peninsula nr. Trefor. Hoping the weather will improve by then. Normally we have gone away at the end of April before the cricket season gets fully underway so have not always had the best weather. Hoping for better then.
Was hoping to see The Jungle Book today, found out the 2.20pm showing had sold out so decided to go for the 4.15pm one only to find that when we got to the cinema that was sold out too so aborted our attempt to see it. Apparently the only time available was at 7pm in the evening which dau and I didn't fancy. Oh well, may try at the weekend, looks like a popular film and of course being Bank Holiday all and sundry were out.
