It's hard to tell whether Glesni is asleep or just laying quietly:
To say the least April was an interesting month on the Dyfi. What does May have in store for Monty, Glesni, Blue 24 and Dai Dot? I look forward to the story continuing,......
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Monty arrives with a huge 'cow pat' of vegetation which he dumps in the nest cup as Glesni departs. He is now incubating.
Birdies LG DU update.
Glesni returns and 'elbows' Monty off the eggs with her usual finesse!

IMAGICAT
Hello all, i am back home after a 5 days on the road. Am still trying to catch up with what happened while i wasnt home.
I was also trying to make sense of DOP chat-box today and find some info there, not very lucky in doing so. This is also because parts of the convo always go missing in there.
I understand that B24 her eggs have been "approached" by crows?
I feel i am missing some info, i will have a look around to see if that is the case...
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!

What do you feel you are missing?

OM - yes your're right, B24's eggs have been predated by crows.
Dyfi have updated their FB page with the following message.
Tiger, maybe there was just not more then that snippet of info to go on, especially not before the DOP page update...
I think i was missing some talk of consequences, but taken from that update it is too early yet for any of that? I may have assumed her (24) behaviour had allready changed, but from the update i get the impression human observers and the camera have seen the crows go to the nest. And not much more yet.
