It's hard to tell whether Glesni is asleep or just laying quietly:
To say the least April was an interesting month on the Dyfi. What does May have in store for Monty, Glesni, Blue 24 and Dai Dot? I look forward to the story continuing,......
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
OUCH! He managed to catch her wing-tip with his foot - that must have hurt! She's up and has taken the fish from him - he tries to sneak behind her to brood the chick but she catches him at it and promptly starts another feed. He's still on the nest, though, as he keeps going for a closer look. I love this pair!
Monty is on his favourite perch with a fresh fish:

Are there signs of cracking on top of Egg 2?
FISH, 21:31!
Monty looks slightly bemused as Glesni doesn't move for it.
He's over being bemused:
Little One has woken up to the fact Monty is there with a fish and is trying to get to him! He has finished with it now and it is laying in front of Glesni.
Glesni has been feeding Little One in the light of the night cam - he wobbled away just as she came close with a mouthful:
She ends the feed. Little One's crop looks well and truly stuffed!
Glesni on the nest at present.
Birdies LG DU update.
Glesni is nibbling at the fish in front of her beak but not getting up off the chick/eggs. Camera panned round to Monty on a perch.
He's just landed and pinched it!
Second egg has started to hatch. Emyr has just spotted a hole.
The hole is at 9 o'clock and Glesni has just dropped a morsel of fish on it as she is currently feeding #1.
Emyr has confirmed the hole as he is seeing it on the HD camera.
