A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.

I didn't see a change over but 33 has just turned the eggs and settled to incubate.
Maya on the nest now
All calm in the bay this morning.
33 appears to have the eggs and Maya has just flown.
33 has arrived and as Maya wont get up, he settles down beside her

All quiet at Rutland, Maya got up a bit to stretch her legs then settled back down again. She has a feather sticking to her nose :-)
PC issues, on tablet and taking ages!
What a star 33 is! Few minutes ago, Intruder but 33 does not leave the eggs but mantles and protects them till Maya gets back. Both mantle and then it calms. 33 takes off and Maya snuggles down on the eggs.
