A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
Once more she is up. I notice her nibbling at the straw in the cup - perhaps removing some bugs? Also much warmer so I expect she will be airing them more.

She has just checked them again.
According to Kayleigh's post the 11th is the 'due date' BUT she comments that it could be a day or two either side of that so we could be very close indeed.
Birdies LG DU update.
Thanks Mike. As I type Maya has just checked and gave them another turn.
Another point of interest is with Maya delaying incubating after it was first laid so it will be interesting to see when it actually hatches.
Fish delivery from 33
Took this snip @ 10.31 but got waylaid before posting. All looks calm...

I wonder what the week has in store??
Lovely captures Karen and beautiful evening sun.
Thanks Kate but they are a very photogenic pair :-)
And as for next week, I think we are all eagerly awaiting a hatch - so exciting.
At the nest just now, Maya is looking around. Hopefully 33 has been away and got her a fish supper.
